Music Production

I sometimes describe myself as a failed musician who was too restless to practise — so I danced instead. Yet music has always been with me.
I taught myself guitar from the age of fourteen. When I moved to Barcelona at twenty-eight, I bought a new guitar and began practising outside. One day, a neighbour, Gus, stopped to listen. That meeting turned into a year of informal mentorship; he shared his knowledge generously and deepened my understanding of the instrument.
My first MacBook opened another door. Through GarageBand, I entered the world of electronic composition. Around the same time, I continued the “bad piano playing” I had begun years earlier — often choosing the studio’s grand piano over ballet exercises.
What began as distraction became structure.
For more than ten years, I have composed the music for my own choreographic works. Music is how I think. It shapes dramaturgy, rhythm, tension, drive and flow. It allows me to construct emotional architecture before the body enters the space. Composition is also a form of focus — it occupies the mind so that only what serves the work remains.
Music entertains my mind, but more importantly, it organises it.
If you are looking for original composition, sound design, or collaborative musical development, I would be glad to connect.
